Rideshare figures are modelled from Orlando UberX pricing at $5.50 base plus $2.05 per mile plus a $4.00 airport fee, then widened to a range covering off-peak to heavy surge. They are estimates for planning, not quotes, and Orlando surges hard when flights land in waves or a convention lets out. About 14 minutes of actual driving. Door to door, allow around 23–32 min by rideshare once you add the walk to the pickup zone and the wait for a driver, and longer if you checked bags. A pre-booked car that meets you inside saves most of that overhead.
It depends on party size and what your arrival looks like. For one or two people with carry-ons it is hard to justify against a $22 to $40 rideshare. For five or more people, a late-night landing, or anyone travelling with children who need car seats, a flat $135 quote that is met at baggage claim is usually the better purchase.
