Orlando airport to Universal Epic Universe
The only theme park gate in Orlando you can reach from the airport for $2, because Lynx extended Link 311 to the Epic Universe bus loop in April 2025. Almost nobody knows this.

Why that pick. Link 311 will get you here for two dollars and it is a legitimate choice. It is also slow with luggage. For most arrivals the twelve-times-higher fare buys back an hour.
Every option, side by side

| Rideshare — XL / Lyft XL | $48–$87 | 32 min | 4–6 | No | Often the only way to keep a family together |

Know before you go
- Link 311 drops at the bus loop, not the parking hub, so the walk in is short.
- Universal's own hotel shuttles also serve Epic Universe from all 11 resorts.
- The first Link 311 of the day leaves MCO around 5:00 a.m., ahead of park opening.
Universal Orlando
Universal's own hotels run free shuttles and water taxis between themselves and the parks, so again the airport leg is the only one you pay for. The 2025 extension of Lynx Link 311 to Epic Universe changed the cheap end of this calculation and almost nobody has noticed.

How we priced this
Distance is approximately 13 road miles from Orlando International Airport. Rideshare figures are modelled from Orlando UberX pricing at $5.50 base plus $2.05 per mile plus a $4.00 airport fee, then widened to a range covering off-peak to heavy surge. They are estimates for planning, not quotes, and Orlando surges hard when flights land in waves or a convention lets out. Private car figures are typical flat rates for a sedan or standard SUV from a permitted local operator. Shuttle and transit fares are the published ones. All checked September 15, 2026.
Common questions
Lynx Link 311 at $2.00, taking roughly 1h 35m door to door. Link 311 runs daily from about 5:00 a.m. to 11:05 p.m., roughly every 30 minutes, and a single ride is $2.00.
About 20 minutes of actual driving. Door to door, allow around 32 min by rideshare once you add the walk to the pickup zone and the wait for a driver, and longer if you checked bags. A pre-booked car that meets you inside saves most of that overhead.
It depends on party size and what your arrival looks like. For one or two people with carry-ons it is hard to justify against a $31 to $56 rideshare. For five or more people, a late-night landing, or anyone travelling with children who need car seats, a flat $135 quote that is met at baggage claim is usually the better purchase. We rank the operators on our private transportation page, and we disclose our interest in one of them.
Not for the resort itself, which has its own free internal transport. You need one if you plan to eat, shop or visit parks outside the resort bubble. Our rental car or rideshare guide works the seven-day arithmetic through, including tolls and parking.
